Have seen him in-game a few times and I think I've done one or two heroics with him aswell - both remembered by positive memories only ^^
Seems to have experience and skill too. Gear is a plus indeed.

Only thing i can comment on is the spec:
For end-game raids, can you find yourself to change your talent build to max your dps?
